According to MP Doctor on the 8th, as of 9:10 a.m. today, LSK iRobot is trading at 3,545 won, up 14.91% from the previous trading day.
This is believed to have boosted investor sentiment after the company announced that it had fully redeemed its 11th Series Convertible Bonds (CBs), worth 3 billion won, earlier today.
According to the company, this repayment was made using approximately 17.2 billion won in cash liquidity secured through the recent sale of non-core assets. As a result, the 11th Series CB has been fully extinguished, and the potential conversion volume of approximately 920,000 shares has also been eliminated.
LSK iRobot explained that this redemption has reduced its debt and strengthened its financial stability, while also alleviating concerns about share value dilution. The company plans to maintain a stable revenue base in its materials business—such as its existing electrostatic discharge (ESD) protective films—while accelerating investments in new businesses in the AI and robotics sectors and advancing technological sophistication.
Furthermore, building on its strengthened financial foundation, the company plans to pursue mid- to long-term growth strategies centered on technology development at OneTouch AI—an AI application software company it recently acquired—and its robot vision business.
OneTouch AI is a company that develops manufacturing and inspection automation solutions based on industrial vision AI and robot recognition technology. It recently demonstrated an “Agentic Robot Dog” capable of autonomous decision-making in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and is advancing its technology development through initiatives such as signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Computer Science at the University of Birmingham in the UK for joint research on robot AI and industrial vision AI.
