KTCorporation announced on the 24th that it held an “AID-X Demo Day” at the KT Pangyo Office in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, with participation from its IT division and its IT subsidiary, KT DS.

AID-X (AI-Driven Everything) is KTCorporation’s proprietary business innovation framework, an expansion of its existing AI-based development system, “AIDD.” While the original AIDD focused on software development, AID-X is characterized by its expanded scope of AI application across all areas of IT operations—from planning to UX/UI design, quality assurance (QA), and operations. It is a collaborative system in which Saramin defines problems and AI provides close support throughout the entire project execution process.

At the event, numerous real-world case studies were unveiled demonstrating how AI automates repetitive analysis and development tasks for developers, significantly boosting productivity and quality. In addition to success stories, the trials and errors experienced by frontline practitioners were also shared and transformed into internal knowledge assets.

Demonstrations of next-generation AX technologies were also held in the exhibition area. A prime example was the “K RaaS-based Physical AI” technology, in which a humanoid robot, having understood human natural language commands, recognizes its surroundings and objects to move them to a specified location. This demonstrated that the scope of AID-X has expanded from general IT platform development to the field of robotics.

An AI-based quality verification platform that automates testing across various mobile devices and operating systems (OS) also drew attention. According to the company, by having AI recognize mobile screens just like a user and directly execute test scenarios, the platform reduced verification time by approximately 50% compared to previous methods and improved service quality by 20%.

Everyday achievements that improved work processes without requiring specialized coding knowledge were also highlighted, such as a case where non-IT staff used natural language-based AI to analyze shuttle bus operation data at the Pangyo office and derive optimal routes.

KTCorporation has declared “AID-X Must,” which mandates the application of AID-X to all future IT projects, and plans to quickly establish a company-wide culture of working with AI.

Ok Kyung-hwa, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of KTCorporation’s IT Division, stated, “AI is not a technology that replaces people, but a collaborative partner that expands human capabilities.” She added, “KTCorporation will implement ‘AID-X Must’ for all future IT projects and continue to innovate our work methods based on AX across all stages of business processes.”
