[Edaily Reporter KIM SAE-MI ] DENTIUM(145720)has expanded its collaboration with local medical professionals by conducting academic exchanges on digital diagnostics and minimally invasive implant treatments in major Chinese cities.
DENTIUM announced on the 12th that it held seminars under the theme of “Digital Minimalism” in Shanghai, Jinan, and Beijing, China, from the 20th to the 23rd of last month.
Dr. Jeong Seong-min, director of DENTIUM Dental Clinic, participated as a speaker at the event, introducing clinical strategies and case studies that integrate digital diagnosis, minimally invasive implant treatment, and regenerative therapy.
Digital Minimalism is a clinical approach that integrates the entire treatment process—from digital diagnosis using artificial intelligence (AI) through implant surgery, regenerative therapy, and prosthetics—into a single, seamless workflow. The company explained that the approach focuses on efficiently performing diagnosis and treatment at each stage.
At the first event, the Shanghai seminar, the company introduced digital diagnosis and occlusal analysis using 3D dental computed tomography (CT), as well as minimally invasive implant treatment methods utilizing the Bright Implant. Additionally, the company shared methods for establishing treatment plans using Bright CT’s features for reducing image noise and metal artifacts, along with analysis of the occlusal plane, midline, temporomandibular joint, and airway.
At the Jinan seminar held on the 22nd of last month, the session covered implant treatments using the bright Implant Tissue Level, as well as bone regeneration treatment cases utilizing OSTEON Xeno Collagen and Collagen Graft. Methods for acquiring oral data from edentulous patients using Flow Resin and for taking CT scans with the mouth closed were also introduced. During the hands-on session, participants directly experienced the surgical procedures of the Bright System and its AI-based CT diagnostic capabilities.
At the Beijing seminar, implant treatments using the Short & Narrow Bright Implant and AI-based temporomandibular joint and airway analysis methods were introduced to medical professionals in northern China. During the regenerative therapy session, presentations were given on Genos’ PH, PN, and PDRN products—developed by the medical technology company Genos—along with related clinical application cases.
Alongside the seminars, exchanges with local medical institutions and universities continued.
In Shanghai, the company visited Xujiao Zhongchi Dental Hospital, Meiyo Dental Clinic, and Hangzhou Dental Hospital to share experiences in digital dentistry and discuss plans for product development, joint academic events, and medical staff training programs.
In Jinan, the team exchanged views with the School of Stomatology at Shandong First Medical University on joint clinical research, the establishment of the DENTIUM Digital Education Center, and the potential for regular academic seminars and graduate student training programs.
In Beijing, the delegation visited the 9th Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital to introduce DENTIUM’s new products and digital solutions and discuss plans for joint research and collaboration on medical staff training.
