[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] AI and robotics specialist #LSK iRobot announced on the 28th that, according to its “AI Virtual IP and Robotics Technology Trends Survey” conducted via the mobile survey platform Kratos, 80.8% of respondents expect interactive AI virtual IPs to bring significant innovation across all industries.

“Virtual IP” recorded the highest response rate at 44.6% as the field most in need of AI computer vision. When encountering virtual IP-based services or AI content, “natural AI capabilities” was cited as the most important factor by 53.4% of respondents.

Regarding future expansion areas for generative AI and computer vision technology, “industrial and service robots” received the highest response rate at 45.1%.

Based on these survey results, LSK iRobot plans to expand its generative AI and computer vision technologies beyond content into the industrial sector. The company is also moving forward with the launch of the AI virtual IP “Cherina” (real name Kim Chae-ni) by leveraging the technology of OneTouch AI, Inc., an AI-specialized subsidiary it recently acquired.

Cherina is LSK iRobot’s first content project aimed at validating the commercial potential of AI technology. Through Cherina, the company plans to gain experience in utilizing generative AI and computer vision technologies and expand the scope of AI applications to manufacturing automation, logistics, and service robots.

An LSK iRobot official stated, “Starting with Cherryna, we will validate the commercial potential of AI technology and expand the scope of AI applications beyond content into various industrial sectors, such as manufacturing, logistics, and service robots, to secure new growth engines.”
