[Edaily Reporter Yun Junghoon ] An app has been launched that will significantly reduce the hassle for users of Meta’s AI glasses. Previously, it was difficult to find relevant photos in the photo album, but this app uses AI to categorize them automatically.

SKTelecom(017670)SK Telecom announced on the 31st that it is introducing the “A. log” feature in the A.dot app, which helps AI organize and retrieve photos taken with Meta’s AI glasses and Android smartphones.

A. log is a feature that uses AI to analyze information within photos and automatically generate appropriate tags along with titles and descriptions. For example, if you take a photo of a concert poster, it organizes information such as the concert title, date, and venue into a record. Users can retrieve desired records by time or keyword, and they can also view a list of related records based on the automatically generated tags.

It automatically categorizes content into a wide range of categories, including △business cards △receipts △whiteboards △meeting materials △parking locations △posters, among others.

AI Glass users can access the “A.dot Log” screen in the top-left corner of the A.dot app and set up the auto-syncing feature to link photos taken with their AI Glasses to A.dot Log for use as records. Compatible models include all Meta AI Glasses, such as the Ray-Ban Meta Gen2.

A.dot users with smartphones can also use this feature by taking photos with the “A.dot Log” camera within the A.dot app or by selecting and importing photos from their existing smartphone photo gallery.

To protect personal information, A.dot Log automatically masks sensitive information—such as resident registration numbers—before analyzing the photos. Additionally, photos are stored only on the user’s device and are not saved to a server.

SKT plans to use A.dot Log to provide users with an experience that allows them to easily record and reuse their daily lives through photos. Going forward, the company intends to continue enhancing its AI services, such as by linking “A.dot Note” and “A.dot Log” to provide integrated records where users can review photos and notes together.

“A.dot Log” is available on Android OS via an update to the A.dot app.
