The Ramen Library is located in the left lounge of the KoreanAirLines Prestige Wing in Terminal 2 of Incheon International Airport. Designed like a library, it is a space where passengers can select the ramen of their choice and have it cooked on the spot.
The products available include 21 of Nongshim’s most popular instant noodle varieties, such as Shin Ramyun, Shin Ramyun Black, Shin Ramyun Tumba, Jjapagetti, Neoguri, and Anseong Tangmyeon. The company stated that it has expanded the selection to accommodate global travelers of diverse nationalities and culinary cultures by including “Shin Ramyun Halal,” a halal-certified product, and “Sun Ramyun,” a vegan product.
Lounge guests can select their desired product from the on-site vending machine and prepare it using the instant cookers provided. A key feature is the ability to enjoy ramen tailored to individual tastes by adding various toppings such as kimchi, green onions, and bean sprouts.
In addition to currently providing Shin Ramyun as an in-flight meal on KoreanAirLines, Nongshim has secured a partnership with KoreanAirLines lounges, which serve more than 1.31 million passengers annually (as of 2025). Through this partnership, the company aims to expand touchpoints so that travelers can experience the appeal of K-ramen not only on board but also while waiting at the airport.
A Nongshim spokesperson stated, “Recently, ramen has been gaining attention as a representative K-food, and its status is rising in various travel-related settings such as on board, at airports, and in duty-free shops,” adding, “Through this collaboration, we will ensure that global consumers choose Nongshim ramen and fully experience the appeal of K-ramen.”
