[Edaily Reporter An Yu-ri ] Global game companies such as Japan’s Koei Tecmo and Poland’s CD Projekt Red will meet Korean gamers at “G-STAR 2026,” to be held at BEXCO in Busan this November.
On the 29th, the G-STAR Organizing Committee released additional details, including the exhibition hall floor plan, BTC and BTB programs, and plans for conferences and esports tournaments.
In Exhibition Hall 1, all six zones—each capable of accommodating over 100 booths due to the hall’s layout—have been confirmed for participation. Starting with main sponsor Crack, KRAFTON(259960), Hoyoverse, Google Play, Webzen Inc.(069080), and Team 42 will participate with large booths featuring over 100 booths each.
The newly created “G-STAR Global Game Showcase” will be located on the first floor of Exhibition Hall 2. Koei Tecmo Games will host demos for *Waryong 2: Wings of Amber*, *Atelier of Karia*, and *Nioh 3*. Sega will showcase “Total War: Warhammer 40,000,” “Crazy Taxi: World Tour,” and “Football Manager 27.” “Total War: Warhammer 40,000” will be unveiled to Korean players for the first time.
NetEase Games will set up a brand space in Exhibition Hall 2, in addition to its “Sea of Remnants” exhibit in Exhibition Hall 1. Visitors can experience update content for “Once Human” and the open-world wuxia action game “Yun Yun.” CD Projekt Red will operate an experience zone featuring “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” and “Cyberpunk 2077.” It will also unveil a gameplay video of “The Witcher 3” expansion content featuring Korean voice acting.
“G-STAR Indie Showcase 2.0: GALAXY,” a content initiative organized by the G-STAR Organizing Committee, will also be held on a large scale on the first floor of Exhibition Hall 2. This year’s Indie Showcase will feature a total of 250 booths, with 106 domestic and international indie game developers participating in large numbers—ranging from developers and publishers to global engine and platform providers.

The B2B hall will shift its focus from exhibition-centered operations to meetings and networking. The networking lounge will be expanded, and new customized lounge booths will be set up. Amazon Ads and Twitch will participate in lounge operations, while Microsoft will take part in the networking party. “G-STAR INVESTMENT CONNECT,” designed to help small and medium-sized as well as indie developers secure investment and expand into overseas markets, will also be newly established.
G-CON 2026 Announces Additional Speakers, Including Shoji Kawamori, Kim Yong-ha, and the ‘Red Desert’ Development Team
Director Shōji Kawamori has been announced as an additional speaker at G-CON, a game developers’ conference held under the main theme of “Narrative.” Director Shōji Kawamori is an animation director and visionary creator who has led the “Macross” series for over 40 years.
Shōji Kawamori and Kim Yong-ha, Head of the IO Division at NEXON Games and Executive Producer of “Blue Archive,” are set to meet on the G-CON stage for a discussion. Kim Yong-ha plans to lead this discussion by combining his perspective as a creator—who has reflected on affection and immersion in characters while developing various works—with his passion as a longtime “Macross” fan.
Ahn Geun-tae, Head of Art Level, and Yoon Jin-ho, Head of Game Engine Graphics, from PearlAbyss Corp.’s open-world action-adventure game “Red Desert” will also participate as speakers. The small-scale roundtable “Salon de G” will feature developers specializing in narrative and art, including the production team behind “Ghost of Yotei.”
From November 20 to 22, the “Overwatch Champions Series Asia Stage 3 Grand Final 2026” will take place at the BEXCO Auditorium. Teams that have advanced through the Asian regional qualifiers will face off. The Game Culture Festival will also be held simultaneously in Exhibition Hall 2.
The organizing committee has launched a special Steam page to showcase participating titles and offer discounts. On November 18, the day before the opening, the online broadcast “G-STAR Premiere” will air. General admission tickets will go on sale that day at 3:00 PM via the official website and mobile app. Once again this year, tickets will be available only through advance purchase; there will be no on-site sales.
