[Edaily Reporter JAEMIN SONG ] SamsungElectronics and LGELECTRONICS are showcasing visions of future lifestyles powered by artificial intelligence (AI) at the Korea Electronics Show (KES 2026), the country’s largest electronics and information technology (IT) exhibition. SamsungElectronics is focusing on an AI-driven daily life where home appliances, mobile devices, and displays are interconnected, while LGELECTRONICS is highlighting the expansion of its AI business from the home to data centers, factories, and robots.

SamsungElectronics and LGELECTRONICS announced today that they are participating in the 57th KUKJEON, taking place at COEX in Seoul from the 13th to the 16th.

SamsungElectronics has set up an approximately 869-square-meter experience zone to showcase AI products spanning displays, home appliances, and mobile devices. At the entrance, the company has installed a media art installation that integrates 28 devices—including the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8, and Flip8—with the lighting sculpture “Project Luna.”

In the AI home appliance zone, visitors can experience the “AI Food Manager” feature of the Bespoke AI Family Hub, where an internal camera in the refrigerator recognizes and manages ingredients. The Bespoke AI Combo, an all-in-one washer-dryer, demonstrates the “AI Custom+” feature, which detects the condition of laundry and adjusts the wash intensity and drying temperature accordingly.

The company is also showcasing the TV-based “Vision AI Companion,” which converses with users to provide content information and answer questions. Consultations are available for “Samsung AI Subscription,” which covers everything from delivery to installation and after-sales service, as well as the “New Galaxy AI Subscription Club,” which provides coverage for damage or loss of mobile devices.

The mobile experience zone features new products such as the Galaxy Z Fold8 series, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Watch 9, the Galaxy Tab S12, and the Galaxy Buds On. The evolution of foldable phones—from the first Galaxy Fold in 2019 to the latest models—is also showcased in one place.

LGELECTRONICS has divided its 902-square-meter exhibition hall into the “Daily Life Layer,” which focuses on everyday life, and the “Industrial Layer,” which showcases business-to-business (B2B) technologies.

The “Everyday Layer” showcases home appliance subscriptions, premium living spaces, modular homes, and AI mobility. By connecting the 72-square-meter modular home “Smart Cottage” with the camping-style mobility space “Spielraum,” the exhibit demonstrates how users can preheat an oven in their vehicle from home or control home appliances from inside the vehicle.

The Industrial Layer showcases AI data centers, smart factories, robots, and automotive solutions. In the AI data center area, the “Chip-to-Chiller” solution is on display, integrating the entire liquid cooling process—from chillers that produce cold water to cooling water distribution units (CDUs) and cold plates that directly absorb heat from semiconductors.

In the smart factory area, three units of the autonomous mobile collaborative robot “LG Corp. MOMA” will demonstrate how they move materials, perform tasks, and monitor safety in their surroundings. The company will also unveil “Axium,” an actuator brand that applies washing machine motor technology to core components of robotic joints.

In the Future Vehicles zone, the companies have set up a display featuring a transparent organic light-emitting diode (OLED) on the vehicle’s windshield, as well as solutions that detect the driver’s line of sight to provide safety and convenience information. Visitors will be able to compare, all in one place, Samsung’s strategy of integrating AI into everyday life and LG Corp.’s strategy of expanding its applications from the home to industrial settings.
