[Edaily Reporter Kwon Oh Seok ] CP SYSTEM(413630), a company specializing in cable protection solutions for high-tech industries, announced on the 14th that its ultra-clean, low-dust cable protection solution, “G-Clean Chain,” has obtained a certificate of cleanroom compliance at the ISO Class 1 level following an evaluation by Germany’s Fraunhofer IPA.

Following the certification of select models in 2021, the company has now expanded the scope of verification to include the entire G-Clean Chain product line, reaffirming its high-purity performance and product reliability.
This certification was conducted on the entire G-Clean Chain lineup. The Fraunhofer IPA conducted airborne particle emission tests in accordance with the international standard (ISO 14644-14), taking into account actual usage environments with cables installed. As a result, the company explained that the G-CleanChain was comprehensively verified to meet the “Air Cleanliness Class 1” standard under ISO 14644-1, demonstrating high-purity performance and suitability for cleanroom applications.
G-CleanChain is a cable protection solution specialized for high-cleanliness manufacturing environments, such as those used in semiconductors and rechargeable batteries. It is designed to reliably move and protect power and signal cables during the repetitive operation of equipment. In particular, its core competitive advantage lies in technology that minimizes the generation of fine particles caused by friction and wear, and it is widely adopted in state-of-the-art automated equipment requiring high-speed, repetitive operation within high-cleanliness cleanrooms.
CP SYSTEM is steadily expanding its track record by applying G-CleanChain to front-end process equipment and rechargeable battery production facilities supplied to major domestic and international memory semiconductor manufacturers. To meet growing demand, the company is also moving full steam ahead with the expansion of its second factory in Gijang-gun, Busan. With the new factory as a base, the company plans to expand its production capacity for high-cleanliness cable chains and increase supplies to major industrial clients.
A CP SYSTEM official stated, “The G-Clean Chain is the world’s first product to be verified for ISO Class 1-level high-purity performance while the cables are still in their original packaging. Through this certification, we have once again demonstrated the cleanroom performance and suitability of our entire product lineup.” The official added, “Based on our unrivaled quality competitiveness in the cleanroom market, we will accelerate the expansion of our supply of memory semiconductor and rechargeable battery production equipment not only in Korea but also in China and Taiwan.”
