His ownership stake rose to 20.0%. This share purchase was carried out to demonstrate responsible management and express confidence in the company’s medium- to long-term growth. Iron Device Corp.’s consolidated revenue for the first half of this year already reached 10.4 billion won, exceeding last year’s annual revenue (10.1 billion won) in just half a year and demonstrating strong growth momentum. During the same period, net loss was reduced by approximately 33%, indicating improved profitability. The company is also accelerating its push into new businesses. Building on its technological expertise in smart power amplifiers—its flagship product—it has established a lineup of power ICs for next-generation compound power semiconductors and is expanding its business scope into the fields of humanoid robots, next-generation mobility, and artificial intelligence (AI) data centers. The company has launched mass production of the “SMA6533,” a high-performance gate driver IC for gallium nitride (GaN) power devices, marking the full-scale launch of its power IC business. Currently, targeting the humanoid robot market—where demand for joint-actuation semiconductors is surging—the company is supplying samples to major global customers, and it expects these products to begin contributing significantly to revenue starting next year, according to the company. CEO Park stated, “Iron Device Corp. continues to achieve steady revenue growth based on its unrivaled mixed-signal system-on-chip (SoC) semiconductor technology,” adding, “We decided to buy shares on the open market because the current stock price does not fully reflect the company’s intrinsic value and future growth potential.”
