The contest was open to elementary, middle, and high school students nationwide.
Now in its second year, the contest received a total of 580 entries across categories such as videos, card news, comics, and posters—a 54% increase from last year’s 376 entries.
This contest was designed to encourage young people to reflect not only on the convenience of AI and digital technology but also on its negative effects, such as overdependence and misuse, and to express a culture of responsible digital use through their creative works. In particular, the contest was linked to the “Education on Responsible AI and Digital Living” program conducted in schools during the first semester, allowing students to translate what they learned in class into their creative works.

The Daesang, the Chairman of the Korea Communications Commission Award, was awarded to the “Jindo Elementary 53” team from Jindo Elementary School for their entry “Wise AI Life (The Protagonist of My Life).” The entry received high praise for depicting the process of apologizing to a friend through sincere conversation and independent thinking, rather than relying on AI.
The Minister of Science and ICT Award went to “Is This Really Your Choice?” by the “Treasures of the Sea” team from Sungshin Girls’ Middle School. The entry symbolically depicted adolescents being gradually overtaken by algorithms using a blackboard.
The Grand Prize was awarded to “The Most Precious Time Is Not on the Screen, but Right Here with Us” by students Go Seo-yeon and Go Se-yeon from Wirye Sol Elementary School; “Synapse” by the “Flame Studio” team from Shin-eom Middle School; and “A Digital Detox in the Forest to Find the Real Me” by homeschooled student Hong Jun-young. In addition, three entries received Excellence Awards and six received Encouragement Awards.
Choi Jeong-yeop, an educational advisor at the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education who served on the judging panel, commented, “This year’s entries demonstrated a very high level of sophistication, as the youth clearly recognized both the convenience of AI and the risks lurking behind algorithms, and proposed their own criteria for its discerning use.”
Lim Seong-won, Executive Vice President of LG HelloVision, said, “I hope that a culture of responsible AI and digital use will spread even further through these creative works filled with young people’s brilliant ideas,” adding, “We will continue to provide ongoing support so that future generations can grow up independently and healthily in the digital world.”
