This agreement was established to jointly identify business opportunities applicable to the healthcare sector by combining KTCorporation’s capabilities in integrated AI, cloud, and data-driven infrastructure—along with its experience in the healthcare industry—with Acryl Inc.’s data and AI technologies, as well as its expertise in hospital system implementation and pilot projects.

Based on this agreement, the two companies will collaborate on developing technologies and platforms for the standardization, integration, and utilization of medical data. They plan to jointly identify AI technologies and services applicable to clinical care, research, and hospital operations, and conduct pilot tests at actual medical institutions to refine service models that meet on-site needs. They will also jointly explore government and public research projects as well as new business opportunities.

Recently, in the healthcare sector, the scope of generative AI and AI agents has expanded beyond clinical support to encompass data utilization, research, administration, and overall hospital operations. Consequently, the importance of capabilities to integrate and standardize dispersed hospital data so that AI can utilize it—and to implement it as services applicable to actual workflows—is growing.

Based on its medical data platform “NADIA-ANE,” its healthcare-specific AI model “ALLM.H,” and its AI operations platform “Jonathan.H,” Acryl Inc. has established a technological framework that connects everything from data integration and utilization to the application and operation of AI models. The company also possesses experience in implementing and validating AI solutions tailored to the specific data structures and operational environments of individual hospitals.

KTCorporation is expanding its healthcare AX business by leveraging its integrated implementation capabilities—combining AI, cloud, and data—along with its experience in the healthcare sector. Recently, it unveiled a “Healthcare Standard Model” that encompasses everything from infrastructure to data platforms and AI services, tailored to the specific needs of each hospital. Focusing on improving the patient care experience, enhancing the convenience of medical staff, and streamlining hospital operations, KTCorporation is supporting the adoption of AX at tertiary general hospitals and general hospitals, and plans to expand the scope of application through collaboration with specialized healthcare partners.

Under this partnership, KTCorporation will be responsible for business planning tailored to each medical institution, as well as AI, cloud, and data infrastructure, and integration with existing hospital systems. Acryl Inc. will provide a healthcare data platform, specialized AI models, operational technology, and on-site implementation experience to develop services tailored to each hospital’s specific environment.

The two companies plan to pursue joint proposals and pilot projects and establish a collaborative framework that spans from technical validation to actual commercialization. Once results are achieved during the implementation and pilot phases, they intend to expand this collaborative model not only to follow-up projects at the respective medical institutions but also to similar projects at other medical institutions.

Noh Hyung-rae, Executive Vice President and Head of KTCorporation’s Enterprise Business Division, stated, “The core of Medical AX lies in connecting the data held by hospitals so it can be utilized in actual patient care, research, and operations, thereby creating tangible changes on the ground.” He added, “Through this collaboration with Acryl Inc., we will strengthen the foundation for the on-site application of medical data platforms and AI services, and expand the adoption of Medical AX by promoting customized projects for each hospital linked to KTCorporation’s medical standard model.”

Park Oe-jin, CEO of Acryl Inc., said, “Acryl Inc. has accumulated a technological framework and on-site experience capable of connecting the entire process—from the integration and utilization of medical data to the development and operation of specialized AI models.” He added, “Taking this collaboration as an opportunity, we will enhance Acryl Inc.’s technology into services applicable to various medical environments and, together with KTCorporation, generate tangible business results to expand business opportunities in the domestic medical AI market.” He added, “Based on our accumulated technology and experience, we will continue to expand the scope of AI applications into various industrial sectors in the future.”
