The event, which was held at Jamsil Baseball Stadium starting on the 29th of last month—the final week of the regular season—concluded with nearly 2,000 spectators participating. This fall baseball season’s event will take place at major ballparks, including Jamsil, Daegu, and Suwon, starting on the 20th of this month.
By schedule, the event will begin at Jamsil on the 20th and 21st of this month during the semi-playoffs, followed by Daegu on the 25th and 26th during the playoffs, and Suwon on the 2nd and 3rd of next month during the Korean Series.
Participation methods vary by stadium. At Jamsil Baseball Stadium, the event will be conducted via an on-site social media check-in (50 winners selected per game date), while in Daegu, participants must solve a quiz on SamsungSecurities’ official Instagram channel and submit their entry via Google Forms (200 winners selected in total).
Winners can pick up the “I’ve Signed Up for a SamsungSecurities Pension” package at the Insung Sunsal Chicken booth near Exit 6 of Jamsil Sports Complex Station at Jamsil Baseball Stadium, or at the Norang Tongdak booth inside Daegu Samsung Lions Park, according to the event schedule. The package consists of chicken and drinks—popular stadium snacks—and is designed to allow spectators to naturally learn about pension products while enjoying the game.
A SamsungSecurities official emphasized, “We hope this will serve as an opportunity for the younger generation to perceive pensions not as something far in the future, but as a financial product they can relate to starting right now.”
