Cafe24 Corp. Takes Direct Charge of Online Store Operations… Launches ‘Responsible Enterprise’
Analyzing Brand Data to Directly Identify Growth Challenges
Handling everything from content, advertising, and CRM to creator management
ROAS Improved from 164% to 362% in Pilot Test
Performance Fees Are Paid Only After Exceeding Agreed-Upon Performance Targets
[Edaily Reporter Lee So-Hyun ] Cafe24 Corp.(042000)has launched a service that first diagnoses a brand’s growth challenges and then directly handles everything from strategy development to online store operations and performance analysis. Moving beyond the typical outsourcing model—where only tasks requested by the client are performed—this service analyzes brand-specific data and market conditions to set priorities and takes full responsibility for implementation.
Cafe24 Corp. announced on the 20th the launch of the “Cafe24 Accountable Enterprise Service,” which develops customized growth strategies for each brand and takes full charge of online store operations.
The service begins by analyzing customer, market, and competitive environments, as well as product and purchase data and online store operational status, to identify the growth challenges that each brand must address first.
The areas of support vary depending on the brand’s situation. If improving the conversion rate is needed, the service optimizes product selection, display, product detail pages, and the purchasing process; if acquiring new customers is a priority, it strengthens advertising and collaborations with content creators. For brands focused on increasing repeat purchases, the service manages customer relationship management (CRM) and promotions based on customer data.
Dedicated Support from Strategy to Execution and Performance Analysis
Cafe24 Corp. operates as a single, integrated process—from diagnosis to strategy execution, performance analysis, and improvement. This approach involves setting operational directions based on data generated by the online store, applying these to actual services, and then reanalyzing customer responses and transaction results to inform future operations.
Dedicated teams for each brand handle content creation, improvements to the purchasing process, advertising and promotions, CRM, and the discovery and collaboration with creators. AI technology is utilized to increase the execution speed and operational efficiency of these dedicated teams, particularly in content creation.
Under this structure, brands focus on core decision-making—such as product development and brand vision—while Cafe24 Corp. manages all aspects of online store operations in accordance with the agreed-upon strategy.
Pilot Program: ROAS Increased from 164% to 362%
A pilot program conducted with select brands prior to the official launch also demonstrated improvements in key metrics.
For a baby products brand, unique visitors via AlimTalk increased by 15.1% following operational improvements, and the share of revenue from repeat purchases rose by 18.0%.
For a food brand, after simultaneously improving the purchasing structure and ad operations, the return on ad spend (ROAS) rose from 164% to 362%. The purchase conversion rate for new members and the share of repeat sales also increased by 59.6% and 50.7%, respectively.
Commission Paid Only Upon Meeting Performance Targets
The revenue structure also differs from that of typical agency services. Cafe24 Corp. determines brand-specific goals and the scope of operations through consultations and preliminary assessments, and charges a performance-based commission only when pre-agreed performance targets are exceeded.
Rather than simply performing predetermined tasks and charging a fee, the structure involves sharing growth goals with the brand and receiving compensation based on performance.
The primary target audience consists of companies and brands that have strong products and growth potential but struggle to integrate various areas—such as content, marketing, and customer management—into a unified strategy.
Cafe24 Corp. plans to further enhance its data analysis and operational capabilities in the future and expand integration with its own e-commerce infrastructure—including creator group buying, advertising, and inventory and shipping. The company also intends to broaden its support to include brands seeking to enter global markets.
Lee Jae-seok, CEO of Cafe24 Corp., stated, “For a brand to grow, it is just as important to identify what needs to be changed right now and execute those changes quickly as it is to create a good product.” He added, “Based on our expertise in data and commerce, we will proactively identify what brands need and manage those operations directly to become a partner that delivers tangible results.”
