[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] Y-Biologics, Inc(338840)announced on the 20th that it will present two research findings on immuno-oncology drugs based on its “Multi-AbKine” multi-antibody-cytokine fusion platform at the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC 2026) conference, which will be held from the 4th to the 8th of next month (local time).
SITC is an academic conference where global pharmaceutical and biotech companies, as well as research institutions, participate to share the latest research findings and clinical development trends in the field of immuno-oncology. At this conference, Y-Biologics, Inc plans to present preclinical research results as posters for its core pipeline candidates “AR170 (PD-1×VEGF×IL-2v)” and “AR166 (PD-1×LAG-3×IL-2v),” which utilize the Multi-AbKine platform.
Research results for these two candidate compounds were previously presented at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR 2026) in April. This time, the company plans to present additional data obtained through follow-up studies.
In particular, the company will disclose some of the ex vivo translational research data obtained using tissue samples collected from actual patients. Ex vivo research evaluates the mechanism of action of candidate compounds using patient-derived tissue and is used to assess their potential for clinical application during the preclinical stage.
The company intends to use these research results to demonstrate the candidate compound’s technological competitiveness and expand discussions on technology transfer and joint development with global pharmaceutical companies.
In addition, the company will participate in “BIO-Europe 2026,” a European biotech partnering event to be held in November. Building on the research findings presented at SITC, the company plans to hold partnering meetings with global pharmaceutical companies and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
Meanwhile, the 41st annual SITC conference will be held November 4–8 in Phoenix, Arizona. Key topics at this year’s conference include next-generation bispecific antibodies, personalized cancer vaccines, and immunotherapy research utilizing artificial intelligence (AI). The presentation abstracts are also scheduled to be published in the conference’s official journal, the *Journal of Immunotherapy of Cancer (JITC)*.
A representative from Y-Biologics, Inc stated, “The competitiveness of preclinical-stage candidates depends on how convincingly we can demonstrate their applicability in actual patients,” adding, “At this conference, we will demonstrate the technological competitiveness of our pipeline through research results, including patient-derived tissue data.”
