[Edaily Starin Reporter KIM HYUNSIK ] Singer and composer EJAE, who wrote and performed “Golden,” the OST for the Netflix hit animated series “K-Pop Demon Hunters,” tied the knot with former music producer Samuel Kim (Sam Kim).

According to the U.S. fashion magazine *Vogue* on the 20th, the couple held their wedding ceremony on the 17th at Stage 28 in Godeok-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul.
Originally, the couple had planned to hold their wedding on the 7th of next month in California, but they changed the venue and moved the date up. As Korean-Americans, they decided to hold the ceremony in Seoul to incorporate their Korean roots into the wedding.
Stage 28, the wedding venue, is the site of the former residence of Lee Jae’s maternal grandfather, veteran actor Shin Young-kyun, and is also home to the Shin Young-kyun Arts and Culture Foundation. Lee Jae is the daughter of Shin Hye-jin, vice chairwoman of Seyoung Enterprises and Shin Young-kyun’s daughter.
Lee Jae shared wedding photos, originally published by Vogue on its official social media account, on her own social media profile.
In an interview with *Vogue*, she said, “When I was young, my grandparents lived in the house on the grounds where the wedding took place,” adding, “I spent a lot of time as a child running around the garden and taking walks with my grandfather up the hill behind the house.” She continued, “I will never forget the feeling I had when I walked down the aisle and saw my friends and family surrounding me with love and support.”
Lee Jae and Samuel Kim met in May 2017 through a mutual acquaintance. After building a relationship while collaborating on songwriting, they began dating. On the 15th, they attended the “16th Beautiful Artists Awards” ceremony, hosted by the Shin Young-kyun Arts and Culture Foundation, as well as Shin Young-kyun’s 100th birthday celebration, both held at the same venue as their wedding.
