(Photo: SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION) SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION announced on the 27th that it held the “2026 FutureScape Demo Day,” a startup collaboration program, at its headquarters in Gangdong-gu, Seoul.
FutureScape is an open innovation program jointly operated by SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION and the Seoul Business Agency (SBA). It enables startups to apply their technologies to SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION’s residential complexes and business infrastructure to conduct pilot tests and explore commercialization opportunities. The six companies selected this year underwent technology validation for approximately three months starting in July.
At this event, pilot results across various fields—including AI home care, education, in-building logistics automation, and health management—were unveiled.
Home&Co validated a model in which residents can access home maintenance and repair services at a fixed price through integration with SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION’s residential service platform, “HomeNic.” LeMon tested ways to integrate educational services into residential spaces by operating an AI learning service for residents in a Raemian apartment complex.
Diver implemented a logistics solution that automates the receipt of packages and the dispatch of delivery robots in office buildings. Inbus proposed a way to efficiently utilize interior building space using modular smart booths that can be installed and moved.
Technology demonstrations were also conducted in the fields of health management and elder care. Team Elysium unveiled a service that analyzes an individual’s musculoskeletal condition and physical balance using 3D sensors. C-Flat AI assessed the feasibility of a service that uses AI-powered conversations to check on the well-being of the elderly and support emotional connection.
SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION has been operating “FutureScape” since 2023 to promote the application of startup technologies in real-world business settings. The AI-based health management platform “Welpi” incorporates technology for linking with healthcare devices and an AI consultation model. An AI interpretation and translation service for construction sites, designed to prevent safety accidents involving foreign workers, has also been introduced at multiple sites.
SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION plans to pursue further collaboration with the six participating companies based on the results of this pilot program. The company intends to refine services applicable to residential complexes and explore ways to integrate them with its own platforms, such as HomeNic.
Hyung Si-won, Executive Vice President and Head of the DxP Business Strategy Team at SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION’s Construction Division, stated, “Futurescape is an open innovation program that creates customer value by combining startups’ innovative technologies with SAMSUNG C&T CORPORATION’s spatial and platform infrastructure.” He added, “We will continue to provide new value to our customers through organic collaboration with outstanding startups.”
